Trading & Promotion of different flax raw materials have been the roots of "Jos Vanneste company".

Through our centralised location in Kortrijk (Belgium): the middle of the 3 main quality flax producing countries we are still convinced that this historical flax world center will stay a main distribution axis for the trading of flax.

Since generations we are serving many customers all over the world with well selected flax raw materials suitable to their specific requirements

Through our own knowhow as fiber and top producers and as spinners of 100% linen yarns we think to understand very well the needs and technical requirements of our customers what diversifies us from traditional raw material traders and flax scuthing mills.

Through our Belgian based spinning mill and world wide distribution network in 100% linen yarns we are able to help a lot of our customers which are 100% linen spinning mills in commercialising their goods all over Europe and the world what both brings us in a win- win situation.

Short while ago we set up our trading branch in Egypt : "Jos Vanneste Egypt Import & Export company" which allows us the buy and sell independantly Egyptian flax and export it all over the world.

Through our Chinese company :"Yantai Vanneste Flax Co Ltd" we import flax from Europe and Egypt where it is reselected into Chinese standard and sold on local market

Trading in flax is part of our family tradition and it is a personal challenge and big passion of Alex Vanneste to keep that activity florising over the next decades
